Onan error code 24

My Onan 7.5kw diesel generator starts and runs five minutes (load or no load) and dies with a error code 24 (Temp. sender fault). I can restart it immediately and it will again run five minutes and die. Output on each leg is 123V while running. Is there an access panel or opening where I can visually verify that the belt is OK? Where is the temp. sender and how do I access it?

Just as a follow-up for future searchers, Kpackpackkelley kindly PMed me the parts manual. I found and replaced the water temp.sensor and all is well!

Do you have your parts manual ? Look at it and you might can tell where it is by the picture.
