Roof top satellite installation

I have a 2015 Sprinter 322BHS. I want to put a King auto satellite on the roof. My question is, what hardware is best
for the installation? Also I want to run the cable back the length of the trailer to the connections at the rear. I know there is a tape that holds very well on the rubber roofs but I don't know the name. Thanks for your help.

What sat provider do you use? Domes will not work with Direct HD. Personally I think you would be better off with a Winegard automatic unless your trying for inmotion.

I hope he is NOT going In motion. On his Travel Trailer, that would be impossible to utilize since he has 3 slides:B BIG waste of money to buy In Motion. Doug

You would be better off with a Winegard system versus the King Dome system. Winegard is far superior to King Dome. Doug

I like the sat. on the roof, except in trees, of course. But it's great for the kids while driving and using the inverter to have tv. I used eternabond tape in small bits, and alternated with those plastic wire clamps that I screwed into the roof. But I used dicor lap sealant in the screw holes, then on top of the screw. The tape can eventually peel up, given a constant pull, so that's why I used the screw/clamps also, in case the wind were to pull constantly. Most commenters say that the tape can't be moved once it's in place, but I've been able to do just that on the roof, even after prepping with the unbelievably expensive eternabond cleaner. Silicone residue is something else it doesn't stick too well to, also. Since the roof is sort of glued down and stretched over the top, I wasn't too sure about bonding to something that is not structural, hence the screws also.

Have a portable tired of finding the Signal every time. We usually go to the beach so trees aren't a problem often.
