Slide Out Issue

The guy across from me in the RV park has a 2005 Jazz, by Thor. His slide will go in, but not out. He's thinking probably a switch issue. What do you think? Also, if he has to manually crank it out, does he have to go underneath and put a ratchet on the motor? On a lot of RV's you use a long rod inserted into a hole on the outside, but he can't locate one on his. Thanks folks.

You don't have to use the new style switch, you can still get the old style from Lippert.

The new style switch isn't better, just different.

It could be the switch. They wear out. Replacement Lippert switch has different colour wires than the old ones, so see their website first to get the wiring diagram, or go nuts. BTDT. ๐Ÿ˜ž

If the motor does not have the extension rod and there is no hole, then you would have to turn it right at the motor.
