On our new (less than 1 month) Jayco 5th wheel I noticed the black rubber seal (when slideout is out) has come loose or unattached from the wall. What product should I use to glue the seal back on? This is an exterior seal.

I would worry about Jayco not wanting to be liable after I had been messing with it.

I used Gorilla Glue on a section of wiper.

You need to be careful of how much you use, and need to hold it tight for awhile.

Are you talking about the wiper or the seal?

I am 3 hours from Jayco dealer. I was thinking it was something i could do myself. I just want to make sure I use the correct product. Thanks.

I would think this would be covered by the manufacturers warranty and that would be my first solution attempt.

However, I can sure understand wanting to repair it yourself. Does Jayco have an on-line sealant directory (I know Winnebago has one). That could give you a clue.

Otherwise, perhaps someone else on these forums will have a better idea!
