Hello all. Does anyone know of a simple temp monitoring device that can help us monitor our rv when we are away on excursions? We occasionally leave our pups in trailer when we go out and I worry about tripping a breaker or losing power and having the AC shut off. Was thinking something with wifi that could work from one of our phones hotspot.
We use HomeMinder that we set for hi/lo temp alert and are able to watch video or snap a pic/video with or without sound. Also monitors % humidity. You will need a wifi as any device like this uses an internet connection. We use the MyFi Verizon device for this.
We use Pet Safety sensor which notifies us via text if a pre set temperature is met in the trailer. It has battery backup. Worked great during our trip out West during the Summer. RV Pet Safety

It gets tricky unless there is cell phone service.
