Trojan's statement about antimony content reveals there has been no changes made to warp charging values.

Yet Trojan has increased absorbsion and float voltage values.

Why?

It's in response to them losing money.

Due to undercharged battery complaints including warranty returns.

Something I have been harping about for years. This is of no importance for folks who change batteries like I change underwear. Of others who blame everything on "Bad Batteries" because their converter just has to be perfect - the manufacturer says so.

Beyond that I see no significance and reason anyone would be interested

Now I find -that- to be a most interesting statement. ๐Ÿ™‚

I did understand that antimony is a substance included in batteries and the said batteries had 5 percent antimony. Beyond that I am lost. I don't see a question so I guess this was a presentation of fact. Beyond that I see no significance and reason anyone would be interested. I must be missing most of the meaning here.

Antimony is a substance added to the lead in the plates
The plate is a lead alloy that is 5 precent antimony
IIRC it aids in the prevention of loss of plate material
Less debris in the bottom of the battery , longer plate life
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !

I need Mr Wizard to translate this. I am curious as to the meaning behind these words.
