I need a remote with good range and high amp capability. I found some or 10 amp operation. Takes 12 minutes to download successive eBay pages.

Going to use for CheapOWatt switching. Power supply for LED lighting. Cabinet is large and well ventilated but I want to keep the unit up out of sight. I will gouge out the concrete and T tap into existing always hot freezers circuit. A receptacle and plug for the power supply. The enramada's kitchen came that way. For miracle's sake the fool that wired the place had red 10 gauge wire only.

Goofy combination of laziness, incredibly hard concrete (buried wires) night time theft resistance and large one-second current inrush. Fun in the tropics.

Mex - I use one like Wizzard is pointing to all the time here for remote control of 120VAC... Got mine from local ACE hardware store...

Runs my XMAS tree lights, my blower motor on my fireplace, just about anything I plug into the socket...

Great item to have around...

WOW... Why not buy one of the cheap ones to use as control, and drive an external contactor with it? Something like is used in an electric Spa?
