The numbers on mine generally agree with Bill's. As he said some play is normal and also correct that you have 3 LNBs in one unit. Another possibility is that the arm is slightly bent. The LNB as well as a new dish are relatively cheap. I am assuming that you have checked the connections and that they are clean and fully seated at the base.

Some play is OK and it cannot be tightened or adjusted. You do not have a single LNB. You have a single LNB that contains 3 LNB's. 2 KA band for 99 and 103 and 1 KU band for 101.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.

This can happen if the dish is ever so slightly bent or the LNB housing has 1 of the 3 LNB's bad. You can try replacing the LNB with a new one (cheap) and if that doesn't work you can try a new dish reflector. Winegard has also had some units where the base "slop" is too much and while it tunes in well, just a bit of wind or vibration (walking around, closing door) can shift it ever so slightly off signal. There are also multiple transponders and they vary in strength. You want to pull up the signal meter that shows all of the transponders and not the signal strength meter that only show 1. Let me see what I am getting right now.......hang on.......Still waiting for a commercial.....OK, here we go. (Atascasdero, ca)
101 mostly 95+
99 (ca) 86+
99 (CB) 82+
103 (CA) 84+
103 (CB) 81+
Ignore everything with (s) at the end...spot beam and doesn't mean much.

You can do nothing. It is all in the programing Winegard supplies. If this is on Directv you might look at a new LNB,arm and reflector. But I doubt that will fix your problem.

I've been setting up a Slimline dish for years and never have I gotten all sats in the 90s. Have you actually seen these reception numbers on your neighbors' systems?

I don't 'loose' reception in rain but in heavy clouds, occasionally.
