You do realize, even Amsoil spells their name AMSOIL, right?
Well my Son how bout I school you on the original name. Notice the "S" looks like a "Z" on current AMS/OIL products that is because PenzOil felt threatened with this up and coming company and sued "AMZ/OIL".
So guess who had deeper pockets.
My Dad was the original AMZ/OIL distributor in WA. We started using AMZ/OIL in the mid 70's and have thru today.
For your viewing pleasure the original AMZ/OIL oil can.
Well, grampsโฆ.Iโm well aware of that, but thanks for the history lesson.
When you go to Napa for a set of main bearings and brake shoes, do you ask for a set of babbits and brake linings?
And the S looking like a Z is a stretch butโฆ

10 years late to the party. :B
With oil testing I was at 12,500 OCI with our 2001 Ram 2500 5.9 CTD, and told I could easily go further. This was with just Dino oil. The 2016 is 15k easily.
