Note from moderator,
Please keep pics to a max 640 width as a favor to those with smaller screens and dial up. "IF" you can not figure out how to make the pics smaller, post them, PM me or hit 'notify moderator' button, say you can not resize pics, and I aka blt2ski/Marty will go in and edit/fix.
Enjoy everyones pics

We rented one of those over Labor Day weekend... Nice unit! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks. You towed it with a Nissan Pathfinder v6? I had one of those but with 4WD. The hitch rating was only 600 lbs. and the 26BH will have between 800 and 900 lbs when loaded up. How did you get around that?? Did you just load the SUV instead and fill the water tanks from the campground's potable water?

Glad it's working out for you.

Enjoy your rig. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks!

The unit was brand new and empty, and we didn't bring along a whole lot. I put as much in the trailer as I could, which left us with an estimated 900 lbs of payload capacity left before GVWR. The V8 has a 700 lbs tongue weight so I wasn't worried if we were a little over the 600 lbs since the reciever is integrated into the frame of the truck the same in both.

We towed it about 450 miles with the first half a little more tongue heavy than the second (shifted weight around for the trip back). The trip started pretty windy, but overall the Pathfinder towed pretty well. I feel the trucks passing, but it wasn't as bad as I expected it would be.

I hope it will tow the new unit faily similar or better, if not we'll be looking at a new TV in the near future. I plan to weigh everything before leaving on the trip home too so we'll have good numbers to reference.

Looks like the "typical" Ventura fog that we would see at Emma Woods.

I took this picture in Old Rincon (between Hobson Co Park and Faria Beach park). We spend the long weekend in Faria, this is in Ventura, CA.

So I guess it wasn't too hard to see between those lines. We've started the research and are looking at the end of next season as a timeframe for a FW.

Although I did miss driving a dually. Had one for about 10 years prior to the 2500.

1979w72 - nice pictures and rigs. At least you've got towing room - if you upgrade to a larger RV.
