Yeh, but fuel cost should be the same as diesel cost is 1/3 more here. Then add in the $5K to $7K additional option cost and that gasser fuel expense starts to look really good.

Naw, even with the increase in diesel fuel per gallon, with the increase in MPG, we save .25 a gallon overall.

Good looking truck kgarrett9999. I am not usually a huge fan of Fords, but that is one sharp truck.

I agree - 4 seems off for a 2500 Suburban. We get 7 to 8 with a family of five towing 8,500 pounds in the trailer.

Like I said, I do think there is something wrong in the ECU cause it get that bad of mileage. It runs great and will pull a house if need be, but just sitting at an idle the exhaust fumes will just burn your eyes. Had it to a couple places to check it out but nobody could find anything wrong with it. Probably didnt help that it had 4.10 gears and a TH400 transmission either. It was just an old beater and we were planning to move up to a 5th wheel anyway so I couldnt justify spending any money on it, cause it would look really funny with a 5th wheel hitch in the back of a Suburban.
