Dose anybody have a 1993 Elkhorn 11XX that could tell me what refrigerator was in them ? The PO put a 3.5cf 120v frig.in it but I'm thinking about a trip to Alaska next year and plan on boondocking a lot I think a gas frig. would be better.
Thanks for any info.
Happy camping,

Don't want to sound TOO biased but faced with the same problem we went with a dorm fridge and an inverter for less than half the price of a used unit- but there is no wrong way to do it
A good used fridge is hard to get
It may be easier to find a camper with a lot of water damage and part it out.
Good Luck, Mike

I have a 95 or 96 11x. My fridge is a Dometic RM2510. Hope this helps.....

Thanks Mike,
I was thinking that maybe I could find a used fridge. I was hoping to get the dimension of the one that came in it. I can take off the trim around the dorm and get the size of the opening.
Thanks again

A gas fridge would be better in a lot of ways but when you price one you will see why they went with a dorm fridge plus the baffles are likely gone for the exhaust so that's another can of worms.
Pretty near half price you can go solar and never worry about propane for it
Good Luck, Mike
