2002 Caribou

I'm looking at a 2002 Caribou. Camper is in nice shape. 1 exception.
Plastic front cap has a crack at the drivers side edge. No delamination on side wall.
I am looking for opinions from Caribou owners or others on options for resealing.
I have about 10 ft of eternabond tape from an earlier project but would not be very attractive.
Thoughts, suggestions?

Looks like someone may have simply tagged a tree or something, cracking the 'plastic' nose cap. Not sure how you might repair, so cant help there, pretty sure material is ABS.

I see my issue was in a different place than the one you are looking at. Mine was along the roofline where the overhead bed joins the body of the camper. My point is that there were structural issues with the Caribou that caused stress cracks after several years. Again I would pass on the Caribou.

Apparently the bracing in the wall was inadequate for supporting the weight of the overhead bed section. Constant motion lead to development of the cracks. I too, would recommend you pass on that camper.

Overhead joins body of Camper?
Meaning where the front cap joins the camper side?

My suggestions and thoughts? Pass on it. And I previously owned a 2000 Elkhorn (basically the same camper, made by the same company, just a little less fancy interior) and lets just say I have no interest in getting another one.
