Well here is the info on the above truck.
Enjoy II
Note for the guys that don't like the looks of the new Ram I don't think you are going to like this truck either. Do love the tailgate however, beats the heck out of Fords stripper pole!

Don

On edit they it is also getting a 3.0 diesel engine.

Well Groover, back in 2003 when I joined this site it was Dodge Ram not Ram, but you would have to have more then a third grade edumacation to be able to figure that out so there's your sign son.

"it is the Fanboy **** and foul language that we have no use for here. maybe you should fallow your own advice, before you talk about others using foul language. LMFAO yet again! Go find your safe space little boy.

So I post that the Ford has the ugliest truck and I'm in high school? LMFAO, I could give two rats tails what some of you think, however, all I had ever seen on here for a long time was the Three Ford clowns (you know who you are) bashing Ram for large badges and an out dated design.

But they can't look at their brand of choice and see Super Duty written on their truck not in one, two, three, four but yep in FIVE places and in huge letters. Then they bash the Ram's Longhorn badge but again fail to look at the beloved Blue Oval's King Ranch or the word Platinum running almost the length the trucks bed. Again, LMFAO

I don't have a problem with someone's constructive criticism but if you are going to call me out at least call the others out, if not you have zero credibility also.

Take a deep breath, Don. I never said you were in high school (although posts like this make me wonder) I said these "my truck is better than yours" posts remind me of the arguments remind me of high school.

Everyone chooses their vehicles based on their needs and preferences. I don't get those who feel they have to support their personal decisions by bashing others decisions.

Do you really think that he made it to high school?

And why isn't it Ramboy instead of Dodgeboy? It isn't the truck, it is the Fanboy **** and foul language that we have no use for here. Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Someone might even think that you look beautiful even though I am pretty sure that I wouldn't.

"Hey, at least with the Frontier, I can reach over the side of the bed easily. On our F350 dually, I have to stand on a friggin' box to reach over the side."

I just bought an old Ranger for just that reason. My favorite solution right now is the air suspension option of Rams that can lower the truck but it is probably still too high. Don't get me wrong, I love my new truck for everything except getting in and out of it. Even the Colorados and forthcoming Rangers seem to be too high to be useful to me.

Never could understand how a vehicle with a load bed the size of a bread box could be called a truck. 😉

LOL....well, my Frontier has a bed only about 1/2 the size of a breadbox ! So I just call it "the trucklet".

I think the tailgate looks useful. And yes, I "use" my trucks, but I also take care of them and don't abuse them. I suspect this mechanism will be as good and as reliable as the normal part of a pivoting tailgate.

The older I get, the less I like to have to lean over to work on small projects, so the height of this looks like a convenient place to work on some of small projects I seem to be constantly working on at the back end of my truck, both around the horse barn or at the CG when tinkering with the travel trailer.

As to the styling of any of these brands, I don't get the arguing over it all. Styling is subjective. One man's beauty queen, another man sees as a pooch. Doesn't mean a thing.

Here is the offending part of my post (well offending to some) As for looks I like it but then I like the 2019 Ram also. IMO the Ford is about the ugliest thing on four or six wheels bar none! The Blue Oval gang loves to talk about Ram's badging but they turn a blind eye to their brands badging. The Ford Platinum and King Ranch are the worst offenders of oversize badges of any brand truck. Then there are those butt ugly headlamps, who came up with those monstrosities OMG LOL.

I never said Ford was junk, I said IMO it is the ugliest and I will stand by that comment. Not sure why it is cool for some to trash Ram but if someone makes slam on Ford they get sh!t for it? OK then.

Grit Dog,
And I thought Fords man step was a marketing gimmick until I purchased a truck with one. After using one I've changed my mind about them and actually think it's a great tool.

Unlike you, I'll refrain from bashing them. You and Captain Don must be relatives. LOL.

Ralph's, I agree with you, the Swiss Army knife tailgate is about 95% marketing and 5% function and will not be a problem for wanna be pickupmen (Joe diffy) who need to load their mountain bike or a couple flats of tomato plants for their wives....

But when that $70k Denali is 5,10,15 years old and someone who uses it like a truck buys it, it will be a problem, period.

Love my truck but I got to admit those GMCs- old and new- are some sharp looking trucks.
