Seems like all you see around here are Rams, I would have thought their numbers would be higher.

I think it's because Ram drivers like to gut the exhause system so you hear them and say what's that noise and look but you don't hear that racket when a dozen Fords or Chevy's roll by so it seems there are more Rams around.
I agree. Every time I hear a loud tractor on the road I know there is a Ram around.

I've seen plenty of kids running around in their loud Power Strokes as well.

Pick up my 2020 3500 dually on Monday.

Not to freak you out but it will have the CP4 pump.

Not freaked out.
It will also have a new warranty:)

Why should he be freaked out. You've been saying since Cummins installed the CP4.2 that is has to be good. Plus his truck should have the symmetrical CP4.2 pump.

Please show me where I have said anything promoting the CP 4. Donโ€™t believe I have mentioned much either way.

Never said he โ€œshould be freaked outโ€.

It would not bother me either but now that I know the CP3 is available again I would opt for it.

Don't forget, Ford and Chevy sell a lot of fleet work trucks. They include those numbers. It would be interesting to see sales to private parties only. I wonder how the numbers would change.

I would say the percentage of sales would essentially be the same.

I was hoping someone would bring this analogy up. ๐Ÿ™‚

Now if Ford would just put the Cummins engine in their hd line that would be great. Should be easy because they own Cummins. :B

Cummins is not owned by Ford.

Thatโ€™s not what I read on the internet. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Funny you say that. I ran into a hot shot driver Saturday at the boat/rv storage where I store my boat and he just finished removing the factory exhaust system and installed a tuners on two fairly new ram trucks. He said him and his driver where having nothing but emissions problems so he was forced to take matters in his own hands.

My exhaust looks a lot cleaner and shiny er and covered in about 4 years of dust!
Truck runs great though!
Just to dispell the rvnet myth, I did actually add a resonator to the 5โ€ straight pipe! Seriously...it was good at removing ear wax pulling a hill with a trailer.
