Aero Towing Mirrors

Of course, electric model specific towing mirrors for my new Ram 1500 would be nice. That may have to be Christmas present in a future year. Meanwhile, I have tried different "universal" mirrors in the past, and did not really like any of them.

Came across these mirrors by Aero. I researched some reviews and decided to purchase a pair of Grande Aero mirrors. Nice surprise.

Install is easy. No straps. What a cool thing. Easy clamps.

They advertise no vibrations . Not completely true, but close. Remarkable functionality.
I feel I get the best possible view back. Very safe, confident lane changes and turns.

At ease postponing getting those Dodge mirrors...

I ordered a set of the Grand Aero's right after bringing our first TT home. I have fooled around with them and they do clamp on very nice and easily, but I found the extra viewing are was not much over my TV standard mirrors (which slide out for towing anyway). I found they don't add enough over bigger mirrors truck style mirrors and have not used them on the road yet, but I would definitely recoomend them for smaller vehicles or any size with smaller / non-extending factory mirrors.

I got the Grand Aero mirrors and am not altogether happy with them. Best thing about them is that they are attached to the standard mirrors, and of course fold with the standard mirror. The problem is that the optics are just not very good. A lot of distortion. They work OK for general trailering, but when I tried to back the trailer into its garage, I couldn't do it with the Grand Aero's--too much distortion and backing into the garage is a precise business--I want to center the trailer in its stall within a couple of inches. Put the McKesh mirror back on the driver's side and it was a piece of cake.

I just purchased ,mirrors form camping world that simply attach to the existing glass with a vacumn disk. They work great and seem to be on solid.

I'll add to the pile. My grand aero mirrors work on my Touareg just perfectly. Easy on/easy off.

I have the smaller Aeros and have been very pleased, but am considering replacing with aftermarket towing mirrors at some point.
