When I fill my water tank all my faucets sputter and the toilet shoots water out with a sputter.  If I use dude t water hook up I am fine. Where could the air be coming from? I have used the camper at four different locations. Two with dude t water and two I filled the tanks.

almost sounds like you have a leak on the suction side of the pump that is pulling air in when using the water pump.  could be in the pump its self.

You might also check the fitting on the suction/inlet side of the pump. May or may not be water around pump. Also look for a crack on the inlet line going from the tank to the pump. Most often will see water near the leak.

I've had that sputter on every camper I've owned.  I just attribute it to the loss of pressure between when connecting/disconnecting from city water to on board water.  If you leave the city water connected and turn on the pump to use on board water, you won't see the sputter, it only happens when disconnecting city and then turning on the pump.

We camped for three days and the sputter never stopped.

Could be a faulty water pump?
