Given the limited space in truck campers and to avoid carrying gas I was wondering what people think about something like this:

Car Based power generator

They seem to have both a "1000" watt and a "2000" watt model though the later is pricy.

$1390 for a 2000 watt?
I would just buy a Honda 2200, for me it would be more versatile.

It appears to be nothing more than an inverter, with a lot of glitz and hype.

I think solar makes more sense and also works when the TC is in storage. $395 plus seems like a lot.

You really want to run your truck engine for the length of time it takes to complete the absorption phase? Why won’t solar work most days? Not new. Not experimental.
