I was wondering if any TCer owns, has owned, has driven a Reeper ?
https://oreionmotors.com/reeper .

For my purposes, it would appear to be a great fit, but would like some reviews.

Thanks in advance,

You have to think of the Reeper as a mini Suzuki Samurai. In stock form it is a mild use 4wd vehicle which is more capable than a Subaru but not as good as a SWB Jeep. Since few have been sold, there are not many aftermarket suspension products, but the engine can readily accept a turbo and there a replacement performance ECU out of Europe available.

I know several people that sold their Polaris Razor and bought a Reeper. They love it. It wonโ€™t go the places the Razor went but it is much quieter going down the road.

They use a 3-cylinder 800cc DOHC EFI gasoline engine made by Chery. This is a Chinese product and only as good as the dealer supporting you. The Chery engines do well and can use the same transmission for the 580cc, 800cc and 1100cc models. Most people choose the manual 5-speed over the the CVT transmission. Joyner, Renli and Ground Pounder use the same drive train in their buggies. John Deere also the power train in their XUV 825i.

I have no direct, personal experience with them. I have a very good friend that had one. He only put about 100 miles on it and the clutch (inside the belt drive) gave out and it was NOT warrantied. He had to pay out of pocket to fix it. He sold it immediately afterwards.

no problem opening the website here - looks to be selling expensive off-road toys.

I have webroot virus program. When I go to https://oreionmotors.com/reeper, it says no:

"This is a suspicious site. There is a higher than average probability that you will be exposed to malicious links or payloads."

I do not know how serious it is if serious at all. Just thought I would point it out.
