Anyone have Viking or Clipper pup?

This is a purely anecdotal question. I'm looking for another pup and am considering Viking or Clipper because they don't have poles under the bed ends --- the beds are suspended making it easier to set up (I would think???).
Are those of you with newer vikings/clippers happy with them (I know, quality is always a major topic of discussion/dissention).

I have 2004 Viking Epic 1906 it is a great little camper. We have poles to support the beds, but it is not big deal at all.

I suppose the Clipper/Viking design could be the easiest way. What I meant was that when it comes to the actual amount of difficulty avoided or time saved by the Clipper/Viking i.e. Coachman design, its so small that the cable supported bunk feature would not factor into my decision of which pup manufacture I want to go with. Coachman has stepped up their pup game with now having a stepper door and I have heard good things with the "zero exposure" flooring, but they would probably still be the last manufacture I would go with. That's just me and my Coleman bias 😉

Thanks. Clipper/Viking have no poles. They are suspended by wire. You pull the bunk ends out until they lock (and click) in place --- that's it. I would think that is the easiest.

Coleman, and now Somerset pups have the Back Saver system and self storing poles. You do not have to go under the bunks for setup and the poles store under the bunk. They stay attached so there's no fumbling with them or chance of forgetting them at home. I just mention that because I'm not sure how much "easier" it can get when setting up bunk ends on a pup.

We have an older Viking (2010) that does have poles. I only comment to say that we have been very happy with the overall quality of construction and have had very few problems.

We bought a new Clipper 3 weeks ago and love it. With no poles to mess with it is a lot easier.
