Yep. In service date which is usually the purchase date. My Excursion sat for 6 months on the lot before the first owner bought it.
When I was with Chrysler, the dealer I worked at had a left over 03 Durango, a loaded up SLT+. At that time the 04โs with the HEMI came out, so everyone had to have the 04. Well that 03 sat for 2 years on the lot before an older couple bought it at a deep discount. And the in service date was sometime in 05. It sold with its full warranty.
