My daughter was getting a little warm in her bunk during our last camping trip, so I decided to put her a fan in to keep the air flowing.

I had been wanting to add a 12-volt fan to the main living area anyway, so I decided to tackle both jobs today. A trip to Wal-Mart for two fans($8.48 each) and we're halfway there.

She picked the spot, and I got to work -

I picked up the power from her overhead light. All I have left is to install a short piece of wire cover and I'm done -

I added one in the main area -

I dropped by Lowe's and found this cool soap dispenser. I also just installed these Pop-a-Toothbrush holders -

I added a sopa dispenser to the kitchen area as well. I also installed a Pop-a-Napkin under the radio -

Here's an easy mod. I found this over the door towel rack at Walmart and it works great -

We have not had to do much to this new camper just a couple of things to make it home. I collect magnets from our travels and since we now have all the windows, I have lost wall space. I found these magnet boards online that are 3 inches wide and screwed them into the wall on each side of the slide:

added a bedroom TV and sat. box. didn't want to hang anything off the walls that I would have to take down for travel. we don't plan on using it when "camping" but it is nice for the road trips.

After removal, the walls and floor where pretty beat up. The walls were patched and new vinyl wallpaper applied to the bottom half. The floor was patched and a carpet remnant installed. Lastly, a new dinette table and chairs were brought in. We like the way it turned out and it was actually less expensive than buying a replacement RV dinette booth.

One of the best decisions we made when ordering our TT was to reject the booth. I can see it with kids, but us older folk like a little more "spread"

Put up a basic, but very useful paper towel holder under the cabinet and a Camco stove cover.

Put wire bins in one of the pantry cabinets (DH will be putting shelves in the other one.

In the bathroom, we put up hooks for towels, a new shower curtain, 2 hooks in the shower to hang things or dry things (will be putting in a tension shower rod at some point to dry wet suits, etc...), put small wire bins in the medicine cabinet to separate things and help keep them from falling over as easily (took out most things for the winter) and one of my favorites, a wall mounted soap dispenser.

We did some organizing in the outside pass through storage too

Our headboard make a turn with the front wall, or should I say two angles. I took both pcs off and covered them sepratly and then screwed them back on with sheetrock screws. I'll see if I can find some pictures.

Pad the wall with quilt batting and a pretty fabric. Looks better and more insulation! I haven't done this but think it would work very well.

haha, thanks. Our bedroom has a headboard behind it that I recovered too but because the wall behind it goes up then it starts going at an angle I couldnt do much of a headboard on it. So now I am wondering what I can do behind that bed. The walls are ugly and I want to make it look nice but I just cant think of what to put on the wall

Flag pole

can the flag spin all the way around without hiting the front of the trailer..... and how did you mount it to the tongue???

No, the flag does not spin. It is stationary. It is mounted with custom brackets I made out of aluminum angle and u-bolts. The u-bolts mount the whole thing to the tube on my electric tongue jack.

Can you give more details on the bracket???? Photos??? We have one that we need to put a steak in the ground and it spins 360 degrees but this looks very neat!

I don't have any close ups of the brackets yet. We are going on a trip with it next weekend and I can take pics and post them then. Basically, 2 2 inch u-bolts mount the brackets to the tongue jack tube and 1 1/2 inch u-bolts mount the flag pole to the brackets. Then I used a pvc coupler to mount the flag pole to the pole on the tongue jack. I secure it with a quick release pin.
