Longtime camper shopping for new travel trailer. It's between Crossroads Zinger vs. Forrest River Wildwood. Familiar with Forrest River but not the Crossroads brand. The Crossroads coach we looked at seemed very well built. Would like to hear from other RVers.

We looked at the Zinger lineup, and liked them a lot. Would have bought one, but found a good used Palomino Puma at a great price.
As I recall, the Zinger is the entry level, budget priced lineup, offered by Crossroads. However, my wife and I liked the Zingers we looked at. Build quality seemed above average.

Not sure if the OP knows, Palomino is owned by Forest River.

My TT is part of the Palomino line as well, and overall I'm pretty happy with mine. There are few small things that need to be addressed through the warranty (some of the LED strip lights don't work, a few of the outer trim pieces are cracked, and some other stuff like that), but they are all smaller items.

Looking at the ZT32SB...I know some have indicated they thought Zinger is the entry level, my understanding is back in 2012 Crossroads released their new entry level trailers the Z1 series. Zinger now is considered an upgrade from that.

I currently have a Zinger, and it is my 5th TT. I have never owned a Forrest River so can't speak to the quality of those, though I did consider it on my last purchase. However, I will say that I have been very pleased and impressed with the quality of my current rig the 27RL by Crossroads. The fit and finish is great and I have enjoyed it as much as any I've ever owned.

D,

Not real familiar with either model, by some things to also compare in addition to the construction.

Axle ratings and gvwr. Do the 2 axles add up the gvwr or did the manufacture add the dry tw to the axles rating for a higher gvwr?

Tire rating and size. Does one have a better tire size for replacement selection and weight rating in relation to the gvwr?

Amount of storage and size of storage doors.

If you truly feel one is a better quality trailer build wise, I would probably lean towards that model. Maybe look at other trailers from both manufactures to see if the one happened to be a "bad build" by chance.

If they are at two different dealers, is one seem to be better than the other for any after the sale issues???

Good luck shopping!!!
