You'd think new bunk models exceeding 30K would come with a ladder... My son fell from the top bunk this week after almost successfully climbing up and hurt his ankle pretty good. The ladder height I need is 55 inches, but I've mostly just seen 60 inch ladders for sell to the tune of $50-60 bucks. I built this one for $14 in wood, $7 in stain, and $7 in hooks. $28 total but it was fun to do with the kids. I'm on my fourth travel trailer, and this is the third bunk model I've had to build a ladder for. you'd think I could at least get the spacing even on the steps
🙂 I'm about the least handy person I know when it comes to wood working. I'll see if I can get this picture to post.
