FYI it's been "RAM" since 2013.

The Ram brand was created following Chrysler's acquisition by Italian automaker Fiat S.p.A., and the plans called for Dodge switching to an exclusively car-based lineup with all pickup and future heavy-duty trucks by Chrysler being sold under the Ram brand. This started in the 2009 calendar year.

Look it up it was made the LEGAL name in Model Year 2013. Every Dodge/RAM up til then had "Dodge" label on it somewhere. My 11 and my Dad's 12 each had "DODGE" on the eye glass indent at the top center of the dash.

Lucky for Chrysler they weathered the tough times during the several ownership changes. Some of this was put in place to maximize break up value.

The truck was ordered with the optional 4.10, the standard gear set is 3.42 but can be replaced with an optional gear set.
