Does your dually fit in the garage?

I am considering buying a dually and my garage has two doors (Center post). I've measured many times and it will barely fit but I don't want to have chest pains everytime I pull into the garage.
I live in south Texas (Padre Island) 8 blocks from the beach so I would hate to leave it outside (salt mine). Does anyone else have a similar situation?

Mine fits nicely in my 30' x 32' garage with 2 12' x 10' tall doors. :B

Mine fits fine and goes up and down on my 2 post lift also.

Width is fine for me. Length too.

But height is too low to clear the cab, so no garage for mine.

Yes but I had to go to a Megacab with the short box for it to fit; the crew cab long box was too long. I would have preferred the long box, but the truck being in the garage was more important to me. The Megacab dually is also quite rare and I definitely like that about it.

I wouldn't own a vehicle that wouldn't fit into a garage, too much age and depreciation involved.
8' foot door you better have good aim cause it will be tighter than a nats butt :W

Local builders favor 1 foot post between 7 high by 8 wide doors. I removed center post, doubled header and got 7 X 17 foot door from Lowes. Dually in sig. is 7'11" across fenders.

I can't even get my SRW in the garage, but it is because both the height and the length are too much.

I can fit thru my 9x7 door if the mirrors are retracted, but the antenna drags on the garage door as I come in. I have a moonroof and can leave that open but there will be just an inch or two of clearance as I enter the garage. I have plenty of room once in the garage because my garage doors have a 3 foot wide "post" between them.

So height can be just as tight as the width. My truck is not jacked up. Hope that helps.

Edited - The bother of parking in the garage is easily offset by having a truck that doesn't need washing as often and tires that stay fresher longer.

OP easy fix remove center post add a nice glue lam and add one BIG door!

If you need a Dually get one no matter what!

The reason I leave mine up has nothing to do with COOL. I leave them up because the spot mirrors work MUCH better in the up position.

My shop has a 10'x10' door on one side and I really make sure I am centered when pulling in. This thing has a really big butt. It fits fine of course but I need to measure and see what the actual width is. I do not run my mirrors out like many do when not towing, no need unless I just want to look cool I guess.
