Down sized

I just down sized big time, had a 34ft travel trailer and went to a 22ft Winnebago Micro Minnie. My wife and I felt we did not need all that trailer and like how this fits in my drive for loading and unloading.

I sold my 5er this summer. Tip to tip it was almost 29' long. We are looking at replacements around 25' or shorter. Upsizing is the common direction, but I prefer right sizing.

A couple of years ago we too downsized from a triple bunk bed family trailer to our current Coachmen Freedom Express 192RBS, similar is size to your MW, and now in our third season have found it serves our purposes nicely - less costly, easy to tow, fits easily on our driveway, and can be parked on pretty well any size campsite we may come across. Of course, 30'+ models will always be popular but in recent years I've noticed the increasing popularity of shorter to mid length 20' to 25 models, perhaps as more of us are aging and now only having to accommodate a couple of adults. Great choice on your part ... CONGRATS! :B

Have you camped/traveled in it yet? Which model did you buy?

We are considering the same transition. We like the size and layout of most 24' class C motorhomes. We are still considering a smaller TT though. Our 31' TT is a bit bigger than we need and limits our ability to camp most places we like to visit.
