F150 Tire time

50k miles going into winter, wear bars are a little too close for comfort. Truck came with Michelins, they are adequate.
4x4, snow, highway, rain, and towing.

Fav brand and types?

I have a 2005 f150 4x4 I,ll stick with michelin.

I just got a set of Pathfinder AT tires from Discount Tire. They are the 275/55/20 OEM tire size. XL load rating (#2800 @ 50 psi).

More than enough load for an F150 with only a rear GAWR of #4050.

Anyway, first time I've not gotten Les Schwab tires.. Saved about $400 in the process too and still have the same tire warranty as LS gives..

Time will tell I guess, but so far, I like the tires and can't wait to tow with them.

🙂 Hi, my F-150 has 49,500 miles on it so I'm in the same place as you. Mine came with Goodyear Wranglers LT load range "C". I believe that I will most likely go with the same tires. I don't want or need load range "E" and there doesn't seem to be very many choices in "C".

I like Michelins (just put a set on my F250), but I had Goodyear Wranglers on my F150. Worked great in the snow.
If the Michelins lasted 50K and they worked, why not go back to Michelins?

Terramax high treads or h/t. Good all around tire. I buy them from Les Schwab but I think it is a bit cheaper if you order from Walmart online to the store.
