Chrysler should use a joy stick and a push button Park mode like the Prius. If you forget to put it in park and push the On/Off button, it automatically puts it in park. The parking brake is a handy gadget that's been around for a few years too. :B

Sad thing is.............RECALLS have become the way of MFG. in the 21st Century.
Even my dang toaster had a recall.

I believe ths largest automotive recall ever was in 1980. 21 million

10 biggest auto recalls

We have a winner! Ford not only has the highest number in a single recall, but also holds the record with 4 out of the top ten recalls!

The info is always in the news for both manufacturer's mandated recalls and also for other manufacturer's recalls etc also. However, as usual, one brand's Fanboys only post anything that occurs which can be thought of as negative about another vehicle brand but never the same info about their Fanboy brand. Must be that the actual truth and facts hurts them to the bone! Some people are beyond help and being truthful and fair minded, and it shows so vividly over and over and has for eons...

Not comprehensive (it's possible I've missed topics that didn't include "recall" in them, or didn't get mean), and doesn't include all the bashing that has infected many, many other threads. But it seems there are TWO primary players, mostly evenly matched.

So maybe (myself included), we can all just agree to get along?

Yes 202,000 fords recalled for transmission related component issues. However, 811,000 FCA Chrysler vehicles just recalled for transmission related component issues. DUH! The real topper and perspective is that Ford sells and has sold many times the number of vehicles in the models the small recall number occurred in so it's very miniscule in relation to FCA Chrysler's huge percentage of vehicle sold in the mandated recalls.

Cmon man, you can't support the bluelaid drinkers while bashing the ram mafia if you own a jimmy! That's called vehicular racism! Get with the program bro! Lol
