Hello, On Craigslist in the SF Bay Area, there is a free Alaskan Camper, it needs to have the hydraulic lines repaired as someone cut them. Also there is a Amerigo Truck Camper For Sale. I just wanted to let everyone in the Truck Camper Fourm about them.

Thanks for posting this about a classic Alaskan. I think a lot of the Forum members are interested in these campers. Unfortunately, it looks like this particular one is a candidate for the boneyard. Too bad, but there will be more. Keep letting people know.
They are manufactured right here in Chehalis, WA. I was interested in them until I found out they don't have a gray water tank.

One of my neighbors spent ages restoring an old Alaskan. He put it on a vintage Chevy truck for a while, eventually moved it to a newer truck. Great rig!

At one time I considered an Alaskan (bought the Tiger instead) and visited their factory. They build a high quality product and were definitely on my short list until I decided that a Class C met my needs better.

One caution brought up by the factory folks: Older Alaskans (and probably many other TC's) do not fit on some newer trucks because truck beds have shrunk in width over the years.

The guy gets big credit for providing more & better pics than a lot of CL ads for stuff with big price tags attached.

I'd say it needs a little more than hydraulic lines. ๐Ÿ˜ž
