What did I do wrong? Working on my 6062 norcold trying to get it to cool better. Replaced 3amp and 5amp fuse in electrical box and shorted out 5amp fuse when replacing it . Put another new fuse in , put every the back together "nothing".,eyebrow don't come on , wont go to gas, nothing. In front of converterer/charger there is a board with 6 15amp fuses, cannot get a reading on any of them. Any ideas?

Yes there is 12v every where else in camper, just not at fridge. This is a 1992 jayco eagle. Been having problems with cooling down to a decent temp anyway. how does a residential fridge work when your on the road? Have the manual which mentions lockout but doesn't say how to reset, nor does it say about a fuse other than 3and 5amp.

Go right to the beginning, that is the batteries. Do you have 12+ volts.

You didn't say how old your camper is, so if the batteries are good, look for either a very big fuse (about twice the size of the normal automotive fuse) or a circuit breaker. Is there continuity there.

Does the board on your furnace have a smell of burning plastic or any signs of a short.

Does the fridge work on 120V.

Has the fridge gone into lockout. This can happen for several reasons, check your owners manual for the reset procedure.

If none of these help, you may have fried your board and may have to get it tested to confirm.
