Has anyone attempted this? I actually like the way the stable-lift system lifts the entire side of the camper. however, as probably with most, I don't like the look of the frame on the truck the entire time.
What I was thinking about is a frame system that lifts the camper with angle iron on each side at the same time. The system would be a drive over system just like stable-lift, however it would not leave with the camper, it would stay at the home base.
This is under the assumption, that most do not remove their camper at any other location other than home. You would still need the camper jacks to level and stablize the camper at the campground, thus it still could be removed if needed elsewhere.
Am I crazy?
