NADA guides have RV prices. Took me a minute to find it, but it lists Northern Lite under truck campers and it has two different models of 9-6 for 2003. From what I saw, the suggested list price was $16K, but that means what it sold for new. Perhaps the person who listed it on E-bay doesn't understand that detail? looking at RV Trader the only older used 9-6 is a 2016 in New Mexico for 28,900. We love our 2016 10-2.

looking at a Northern-Lite 9'6"Q 2003 - ad says it is in good condition. does not have A/C. they are asking $16k - for a 16 year old TC this seems too much.
it is currently on Ebay. i tried to check out kelly blue book, but could not find any info.
is this a good price??

Northern lite owner 2004 10-2 they had some problems with design back section not properly design structural that is rebuilt complete and added generator, contacted northern lite for assistance for structural details, they said factory burned down all plans burned, I rebuild it and resigned it, nice idea bad design, if you want to see step by step on you tube 20 episodes of rebuilt, on Hello campers northern lite rebuilt.

Complete newbie to a TC. Have gleaned a lot already from the forum so thanks to all that have and do contribute!

My truck is a 2018 RAM 3500 DRW 6.7L
I have already installed TIMBRENS and Torklift tie downs and FastGuns.
Only have last weekend under my belt so far and heading out again this weekend for a bit more.

This will make our third truck camper our first new and first 2019 Northern Lite a 10-2 EX CD dry bath with solar panel onan generator and 12 volt television which the big foot had neither of those options. and the Big Foot we looked at new had water in a couple compartments. need to update my signature still have to get and install the frame mounted torklifts still have the fast guns pick up in the next 7 or 8 days if all goes well with tie downs

I have a 1995 9-6 lite (non-basement) that needed some work when I picked it up this spring. The 1" plywood that reinforces the front tie-downs had gotten wet and rotten from an old leak so it wasn't distributing the force from the tie downs, causing the fiberglass near the tie down holes to start to tear. I had to pull out the propane system and hot water heater to do the repairs, which included a couple extra layers of fiberglass, and this thing should be bullet proof now that I've re-sealed everything.

Reason I bring this up, is that many people think that water can't cause issues with fiberglass campers but that's not the case, as I discovered. Keep your seals in good shape and keep the water out and it should last a lifetime.
