How to keep dogs from under it?

So I pulled my camper into the back yard to store it for a month and I crawled under it to look and see what I would need to puppy proof....and it's not possible. There are wires and hoses dangling everywhere.

What have you done to keep dogs from under your trailer? I ended up running and picking up some 2' tall wire and a bunch of short t posts...planning on building a short barrier around the trailer. Any better ideas out there so I don't kill the dogs when I get home next month?

Buy a package of zip ties and get all the dangling wires secured. Not only for dogs, they also catch on low bushes and tall grass when boondocking or maneuvering around many campgrounds.

What do you have hanging under your TT. Mine is all enclosed with the black bottom cover. Only thing poking thru are lowpoints, and fresh water tank drain. No wire or anything like that.

Maybe you could cover your bottom.

Yep sounds like the OP is missing the covering on the bottom of his trailer and IMO that needs to be reinstalled ASAP since all that "STUFF" he now has hanging is not going to fair well when on the road during inclement weather since it's not designed to be exposed to the weather AFAIK.

What difference does it make if the dog rests under your TT. I do not think they will swing from the pipes or chew the wires. If so a chicken wire fence from the TT to the ground should keep them out.

I use a fence charger to keep the raccoons off my bird feeder but that is rather extreme.

Just right for Grandpa, Grandma and the dog.

For folks that don't understand shotguns. That is a 12 gage shotgun. Make a pretty BIG impression on what ever you point it at. Shoot many different types of shells, From rock salt, bird shot, and of course slugs. It will stop just about every thing you want it to.

Oh And. Just so you will know. Many of the 12g shotguns. Kick like a mule.
