I am looking at these for the new truck.
Probably in the 40-60 gallon range. Maybe with a tool box.

Those of you that have/had them, what are your likes and dislikes? What about brands? Good, better, best,,,, and why?

If you live somewhere that fuel prices are consistent, or don't travel through high price areas from your low price area then significant savings at the pump may not be huge. But on the flip side, if I had a 60gal slip in my diesel and used that truck to travel to eastern wa frequently (I don't, as I have a work truck), I'd save a buck a gallon or more most times.
$100 a pop, only take a short while to pay off that tank.
Fuel mileage difference with an extra 500lbs in the truck is insignificant.

60 gallon 80 gallon about 160lbs different. 58.8 gallon fill today $143.00 on the pump, saved $45.97 doesn't take long to pay for itself pulling an RV 1000's of miles a year. Filling when I want not have to. WA has some of the highest fuel prices, I can pass through and not have to buy going either way.

I have a 91 gal RDS tank with a built in tool box. It's gravity feed and has been great for 6 years now. Awesome going to the gas station when and where I want to. I have about 800-900 mile range pulling that condo behind me. Haven't found any negatives.

I do not have a dog in this fight , but , not to many years ago in my neck of the woods fuel as sixty cents a gallon cheaper in Georgia and Georgia was 4 miles down a dirt road to Boston , Georgia . I had worked in a boat yard in St. Thomas V.I. making fiberglass fuel tanks for boats , I had an idea . So as I traveled eleven hundred miles per week on business , I made a 65 gallon box and gravity fed it into my fuel fill . Some of us have saved money with an extra tank !

I considered a replacement tank before I bought my aux tank. The replacement would be nice to not take room up in the bed, but I just couldn't justify the cost ($1300 +) to add less than 20 gallons. I spent less than that on my RDS and added 60 gallons.

I did the inbed tank for the same reason you did, less cost per added gal. I've never regretted doing so

Its simple we claim that there is savings involved. But then we end up buying 60 gallons of diesel that we don't need. There is no savings in that. Now if you are a full timer constantly on the road you are constantly using the fuel I agree you are not buying extra fuel. But if you are a seasonal, weekend or occasional camper you end up with extra fuel.
My point is having and aux. tank is all about the convenience, and freedom to fill when you want. Savings generated from the tank is sometimes questionable.
I agree to a point. To be frank, it's only fuel you don't need if you never use it. If you use the truck then you need the fuel at some point.

What I question is carrying an extra 100 gallons, or more, of fuel. That's over 700 lbs. At some point you're using fuel to carry that fuel. I have a small, 35 gallon, tank that enables me to travel about double what the regular fuel tank allows. Much more than that and I'm just carrying around fuel for no reason. When I fill up at the end of the day, both tanks are pretty low, so it works out just about perfect.

I think we are on the same page. Funny I did not want to introduce the cost of hauling the fuel around because I didn't want to seem petty and frugal but yes there is a cost factor to carrying the extra fuel.
I see it sort of like the always contentious gas vs diesel debate.
There maybe fuel saving in driving a diesel truck vs. a gasser truck. But those saving don't happen until you've driven a lot of miles. We get into up front cost of a diesel vs. resale value and for some their maybe a net saving buying diesel for others a gasser may prove more economical.
However in the end you buy a diesel for the power, torque and performance factors not for the savings.
I think the same applies to aux. tanks. You buy them for the convenience and freedom factors not for the savings.

Has anyone ever tried/heard of this brand? They're comparable in cost and functionality to a Titian replacement tank.

Its kind of relative , pay me now or pay me later. If I was to go with extra fuel it would be OE replacement under the bed.

And the poor OP just wanted to get some comments on a slip tank for his truck....

Maybe I'm an instigator as I poke jabs at 12V and others, and I don't know them personally, but if you read, the nature of it is generally light heated with some sarcasm and same from them back.
