I feel it's the same way every winter... the hybrid forum is very quiet. Are we all living in snow parts of the country !!

We live in Maine.....it's December 13th, and no snow on the ground or in the forecast for the next 10 days at least....El Nino!
Kind of sad at times since we have a new hybrid. We look at it from our living room, walk to it, go inside , but nothing else we can do.
All campgrounds are closed around here.......and temps are still in the high 40's low 50's.......sad, real sad !!!!
This afternoon, I was sitting on our front porch playing guitar.....Doesn't look like winter sat all !

I look everyday for my next camper. Toy hauler pup, or popup truck camper. Gotta keep up with the canvas someway and tow or transport toys.

just a clarification, the OP posted this regarding owners of hybrid travel trailers, not other types of RVs.

our seasonal site is also now our overwintering site. they closed at the end of October. With the warm weather we have had, there could have been another 3 months of camping to be had, but it was not worth the hassle of going to claim the trailer back, de-winterize, etc. Plus, we have been very busy at work in Q4, and then for the holidays!

Put ours away for the winter but it has not been here :). Wish I would not have put it away.

We're not hibernating but we started the process of building our new home around October.
We would've been doing some fall and winter camping but can't leave right now.
Hopefully we can get away in thespring.

I'm still hoping to head to the state park for a Saturday night or two. Always seems to be something on the scheduel. Probably be waiting til end of January or even February. Just me and another guy or two. Not a lot to do except mountain biking, eating, sitting around the fire. Then again, that soundness just right!

I keep saying that I should make good use of this warm New England weather and inspect the roof before winter, but in reality I will probably end up doing it when it is 3 degrees out, swearing at myself for not doing it now...

It has certainly been warm enough around the Cleveland, OH area for people to take out their RV's, but most folks have them tucked away for the winter, and a lot of campgrounds are closed for the season. But with Christmas rapidly approaching, DW and I can look forward to hitting the road at the end of February and we're heading to Florida to get a break from winter! And with no major long trip planned for this spring/summer, we look forward to doing more frequent outings to nearby places we like to explore.

Season's Greetings to All!!

Best wishes to both of you.

Enjoy your vacation in Florida, and like you, next summer will be a lot of small four day week end trips in the area (Maine}.
We do have the first week of July planned in Old Orchard Beach where my family from Montreal will join us, like they do every year.

We were planning on going to Prince Edward Island in August, but that will be for next year.
