Setting up today right next to a guy also setting up. He has his girlfriend's 5er for the first time. He has to leave to go to work after setup, and none of the keys on the ring she gave him will lock the door. His Wilderness by Fleetwood looked about the same vintage as my Jayco so I grabbed my key and went over. Locked his door like it was made for it. So I gave him my spare key. That's what good neighbors are for, right?

My brother locked his keys in his new Ford F150 (1994) and just as a whim I tried my new Ford Explorer key in his door lock and it worked. There are only so many combinations.

The dead bolt will be different but the rest are mostly all the same. The long shot would be if they did not match.

Even my two doors on my Rockwood take completely different keys. Seems like a real long shot that your key would open his door. Storage compartment door keys are pretty universal but door keys should offer better security than that.

Hate to burst anyones bubble but most TT keys are the same. When I've dropped my TT off for service they tell me to just not lock the dead bolt. They say the door handles are pretty much the same key. Same goes for storage compartment keys. I've used the same keys on 3 different TT's.
