....this is the only way to keep rain from being blasted in through those weep holes. I don't recall any RV I've ever looked at not having weep holes through to the inside of the camper (exception: the new Euro-style Lexan hatch-style windows sometimes an option; and a few non-opening door and view windows).

When we had stored our camper outdoors over last winter (for the 1st time), I anticipated near-hurricane force monster snowstorms pounding all the windows of our camper over the 7 months of winter up here (14 of these storms in total over last winter). So, bought a tube of weather-sealant caulking, and filled every weep hole with the stuff (the material is crystal clear);min spring, I just peeled it off the weep holes (in less than 15 minutes), and no issues.

You could use this easily removable stuff to block the weep holes in your existing bulk-head window, whenever you are on the road (or, why not permanently?).

I am looking for a true pass through window which is fully removable like lance uses which allows access from the Truck to the truck camper

Northwoods window is not fully removable and only allows for visibilty and ventilation.

Any other ideas?

Thanks, Nolan

I looked a Lance camper. The window has segi on the glass.

As silversand posted in another thread... Hurricane 1 winds are 76 mph...

If your TC's combined forward speed and the head winds that are pushing through combine for more than 76 mph the aera between your cabover hitting the bulkhead are creating hurricane force conditions,,, then, throw in some rain... you can see where this is going,

Your pass through window like all of the other windows that open will have weep holes. The hurricane forces winds containing rain will force their way through to the lower pressure area that exists inside your camper...

That'll be the source and cause... (along with a little water through the channel between the slide window and the frame)

My solution... I sealed the drain holes.

And I have had a foam rubber boot around the window since new.

Probably worth saying ,because someone just joins as a screen name dosent mean they might not have been here previously and changed it
And dosent mean they haven't had more TC experience than anyone here
I joined in 2003 and after a while of not checking in ,forgot my screen name and had change e-mail and couldn't find it . Had to resign up:S

๐Ÿ˜„ Mostly a lurker. I saw the post, I had a Northwood, and since I have some experience when it comes to replacing windows... POW! My first post! If there's a door prize let me know where I can pick it up :B

Thank you sir.

Hopefully they won't give me a cold shoulder because I did buy their brand of camper.

I had a recent bad experience with a the local northwood dealer Getting very upset I did not purchase my wolf creek from them and letting me know about it. I guess they already have enough customers they don't need any more.

Lance Campers parts department 1 661 949 3322

I would call them and be truthful about what you have and what you need.

I know that they have worked on other brands of truck campers at the Customer Service Center

I think that you will get the answer that you need...

... or just give them your deminsions and specifications... like thermapane, etc. Let them have it built for you.

Chet

BTW... they probably use several venders... and bis out parts to be supplied to their specifications.

Sorry I should have been more specific. I don't own a lance but a Wolfcreek and I'm trying to get one custom made to fit my wolf creek. I tried calling herh the window manufacture for northwood and struck out. I was hoping the company that makes the pass thru for lance could custom make one for me.

Why haven't you phoned Lance... get an accurate answer specific to your camper. The pass thrus aren't always the same... I've seen some that don't open... I guess they are just called a window to allow one to see into the truck from the camper... or to see back throgh the camper from the truck.
