I just had to take a quick pic. It doesn't really do it justice, but that thing was long!

When your rig breaks down and you call for a tow, just hope that doesn't show up. I can't imagine what that setup gets per hour.
I have seen similar rigs like that hauling massive pieces of structure up to the oil sands in Northern Alberta.

Yeah, it's not cheap. Luckily the Portland area has a few laying around, not to mention a handful of 500-ton mobile cranes.

I know you can't back that up. Just being funny. You can laugh now.

Had one of these unable to cross a RR track near my house. He had to back up about 300 yards to a large parking lot. Surprisingly, while backing very slowly, he did not stop once. Don't know if those things have electronic steering help or not, but it was impressive to see never the less.

One of these came thru this neck of the woods a few years back, was going to pick up a wind turbine blade. Came down US 287 from Laramie WY escorted by WY Highway Patrol on their side, then CO State Patrol and the Larimer County SO to Fort Collins CO, where FCPD took over to get this through town, and then CSP picked it up again to it's destination for the blade. Very impressive, a FCPD Lieutenant took a bunch of pictures of it, even more impressive from a variety of angles.

Looks like a fun rig to back up.

That might be the 53 footer on Craigslist in the Carolinas area. She's a beast alright. I don't think 1 ac can handle all of that, must be a front living.

On edit this is the one I was thinking of. She's just a 48 footer, a baby haha.

Ha. Yep, probably her. Let me tell you, in person, that things looks massive. ๐Ÿ™‚
