I would be concerned. I use R&T for greasing my tractor and I have to keep the grease gun in a plastic bag between uses because at room temperature the oil separates out and leaks red goo! I have no idea what would happen at elevated temperatures.

Has anyone had experience with Lucas Red N Tacky #2 grease using it for wheel bearings, I am getting ready to replace all of the bearings on my trailer and wanted to find a good grease to use.
