Mice Proofing

What is the best option to keep mice out of TT. Do the peppermint sprays really work. I don't want to use moth balls or anything toxic.
I do have the bottom sealed pretty good but a mouse can always find a hole.

One last update. The trailer is out of storage and for the first time ever,its OFFICIAL, I have not had a mouse after I found all the entry holes (some which were hidden) and sealed them with spray foam.
This is after years of trying all the methods described in this thread.
Hope this helps some people that have a rodent problem. Find where they are getting in and seal it up. Problem solved.

Is the rodent spray foam similar to Great Stuff expanding foam? I have several holes cut into the floor of my trailer for wiring and plumbing to pass through. I'm pretty sure that's how the little beggar got in. Will this stuff form around the wiring and tubing and seal up these kinds of holes? Although the trailer has Coroplast covering the bottom of the frame, it is full of all kinds of gaps, holes, and cuts from the factory and would be quite hard to seal completely.

Electric cable that pushes into trailer for storage is biggest entry point. highway, bridge and open door for mice. Replace it with a detachable cable. .

We use RID and mouse traps baited with Pnut butter and check them every week.

You have lights in your trailer too. I guess lights are perfect rodent repelant.

7 rubber snakes guard my trailer. Seriously.

They are strategically placed around the tires and the jack stand.

I've tried everything mentioned in this thread and the snakes have been the only successful method.

I had a few mice in my trailer. What I found was that when I crawled under the trailer and looked at where the cross members meet the frame, there were little cut-outs due to the curve where the two steel members met. Perfect for the little critters to get in. I filled the holes with a little of the rodent foam and have not had a mouse in the trailer since. I keep a couple traps set just in case, but no activity!
My Trailer is a 2014 Nash 17K, so it has the enclosed bottom etc..

Pure peppermint oil definitely keeps the mice out and so much easier than traps and dealing with the dead mice.

I placed mothball packs underneath the camper attached to the frame in 3 different spots and used a lot of fresh cab packets inside camper. first season storing in upstate New York in an inside Building. Will see May 1st.
