You are taking a little difference in weight from a F250 to a F450 19.5. These tires and wheels run in the 125 to 135# range where a normal 16 to 18 run around 80# n weight. Then when you need it and you are by yourself with no help how would you get it down. I know people in the past have said drop it over the side. I know from experience that even when I rolled the tire out of my truck and let it drop it bounced just like a basketball but the difference is I was standing on the ground right next to it so I could control some of the bounce and direction it was going. I know I sure wouldn't want to try and horse a 19.5 unto the roof of a camper. I was bad enough to put the spare in the bed. Luckly I was raised on a ranch and was use to bucking bales of hay so I knew to start the lift and then use the a leg to help lift it into the truck.

It's a factory set up for spare. winch using jack components to lower on a cable. Only time I lowered it was while installing the super hitch. Discovered who ever installed the tire carrier put a bolt in backwards. left about a 1/2 in impression in the spare side wall. I was changing from 225's to 245's and my sons shop had a bunch of used 245's to use as spares. Turned the bolt around.
Tank runs inside the drivers side frame rail. It sits real close to the Driveshaft. The 50 gallon tank capacity exceeds my bladder capacity so is a good size.

I had the Alcoa's on my F550 and they still weigh a bunch. The 19.5 that I had on my F350 SRW were Visions and they were very heavy also. Shipped weight on the pallet was over 500# for 4 of them.
I can see if you had an aftermarket fuel tank added and removed the 40 gallon stock then you would have a place for the 19.5 under the rear. It is still going to be a bear to get it under the truck. It might be easier to place the spare on the ground and then back up over it till you are in the right spot and then hook the winch to it and raise it. Laying on the ground and trying to move the tire on the ground is hard even with the 17" tires on my Ram.

You make some good points. Even though I carried a spare I also carry a tire plug kit and an air compressor. So for most of the time I could repair and inflate in the field unless I have cut a sidewall.
Cutting a sidewall or a total blowout from driving with a nail or something that released most of the air, then blows out can not be repaired.
You can still remove one of the rear duals, and install it anyplace you need it. If towing, you can still get the truck to a safe place, and then unhook until you get the tire repaired. LT tires can drive over their rated loads at a slow speed, say under 15 MPH.

That works on you truck but it won't work on a chassis cab model. Yours is built as a pickup but on the C&C that is the location of the main 40 gallon fuel tank. So it hangs down low if you tried to install a tire below it the tire would almost be on the ground.
