Need To Tint Skylight

Have any of you ever tinted the interior portion of a skylight? I have two skylights in my current rig and they are letting in too much heat and light.

I don't want to use blinds, curtains or anything that blocks them. I just need to darken them up. Do any of you have experience with this type of project that you could share?

I lightly, spray painted the outside part with white fusion krylon spray paint.
I decided to give another light coat.
Seems to work well for cutting down brightness inside rv.
I think it has cut down the heat transfer. No test for comparison.

Would limousine shade work just as well? Just a suggestion.
