Curious why you would buy a cargo trailer with doors vs. a ramp if you have mopeds? We cargo trailer our 2 maxi-scooters behind our TC setup and I couldn't imagine schlepping ramps with us everywhere to load our scoots.

Just finished a 13,000 + mile trip pulling a 5 x 8 cargo trailer. Sure didn't like not being able to see it. Backing was a chore, couldn't see it till it was turned aways. Do it again I'll mount a camera on back of TC.

Got it home. Trailer is not level, hoping with the camper on it will lower it to level.

That trailer is pretty light - My little 5x8 flat bed is 700 lbs empty. You will question yourself how you ever functioned without a trailer once you get it filled with "essentials". It is true that you will sometimes wish you had a bigger trailer, but keeping it smaller does give you better mobility.

Can you see the trailer behind your camper while using your mirrors? The only time I can see my little flat bed is in a turn since I do not have a rear view camera. Typically, I advise people to match the trailer width close to the tow vehicle width so you can see it, yet it does not cost you much in additional wind drag. Also, matching trailer track width to the vehicle seems to help with stability on rutted roads. Some guys run reflector sticks off the rear corners of the trailer so they can see how it is tracking in their mirrors.

Nice trailer when are you adding the purple and gold wrap/paint job? 🙂 And ... why doesn't your TC have one already ... oh, and why isn't your truck purple ...

It's coming! Dawg Eyes on Front, Purple W's on sides...Adding an awning and a few other things, like power.

The one rule of enclosed trailers: You will always wish you went one size bigger.

Putting 10-ply tires on half ton trucks since aught-four.

I use a 5x8 for tailgating. Should have gone 6x10. Have fun
