Newbie's Project: 2010 Tango Twist 21ft

I bought a 2010 Pacific Coachworks Tango Twist 21ft.

I bargained well and got it for 10K CAD.

Lightly used...4 times to be exact.....and then parked.

While being advertised for sale....it was vandalized...the battery and box were cut out and the propane tanks absconded with.

No biggy.

In the past 4 days or so, I've made a couple of visits to the RV store and read all the documentation that came with the trailer.

Getting my feet wet. Soaking wet.

Great work on your trailer. We just bought a 23' tango twist. I am trying to find a weight distribution system that doesn't interfere with the propane tank cover. Just wondering what make and model you have. It must be short. I am also thinking of adding the pedestal legs for same reason you did. How is the new setup for wobbling? The plywood is fairly thin in the floor. What type of screws did you use? I don't want them being yanked out when someone bumps the table! Cheers

So...I've booked my first camping trip with the TT.

Due to other obligations my first available is June 19 to the 22nd.

I have a waterfront site at Killbear Provincial park. No services.

It will be a good test for my big trip coming in July.

So....I am ready for camping! Finally!

I even have our ARMAGEDDON FOOD SUPPLY loaded on board.

All my camping gear is on board and I still have some room in the interior.

The basement is pretty much full....although there isn't a ton of storage there, anyways.

Now just need to wait 14 days for my next opportunity to camp.

Well, you're a good Chief Nob.
I took the toilet apart, fixed it, and before I reinstalled it, I polished the bowl with rubbing compound. Have you gotten that far yet?;)

I know what you mean, I just got a 2010 arctic fox that had been used about 5 times by the original owner, really clean, but still took all day to clean the interior. I would still rather clean the rv than the house any time; besides you can sample some of that Beer that is cooling nicely in the fridge!!:B Your project is looking Awsome! Get out and try it out!
