no 12v to TT on battery

I have no 12v to my TT on battery. Everything works fine when TT is plugged into shore power, slide, awning, all appliances etc. Battery is fully charged and has been load tested. All the battery terminals have been cleaned. Have checked everything I know of. My power jack is wired directly to the battery and it doesn't work when it is the only item connected to the battery. Any ideas?

I found a switch in the storage area on my R-Vision. Small red Key.

My F-150 needed to have a relay placed in the fuse box inside the truck to make the 7 pin hot for charging. I posted this a while a go. Mine was doing the same as yours. Many trucks do not come with the 7 pin hot from the factory. All other pins work except the charging pin.

Be aware that a good battery and connections are necessary for the emergency breakaway system to function.

My neighbor just brought his 3 year old battery back from the chain auto supply store. It was load tested after being charged He was told by the "technician" it was fine. I checked the voltage 11.56 and the specific gravity was less than 25% in 2 cells it was 30 degrees outside so I could not get an accurate reading on the cheapo hydrometer. I don't have much faith in the "technicians"

A converter will shut down the circuit if the voltage falls below 10.7 volts. Neither will the power jack

Thanks again to all who answered. As I said before everything inside and out works when hooked to truck with battery disconnected completely. Found the circuit breaker under TT and found good ground in junction box under TT and both are good. Going to have that battery checked again. Can't remember last time I used the battery for 12v since we usually hook up to shore power first thing before we unhook the TT. Thanks again and may your winter be mild

The jack is typically wired only to the positive post of the battery and the jack body is grounded to the tongue. Is the battery grounded to the frame/tongue?

wait...many are wired that they will power from the truck or converter but not the battery. There is usually a circuit breaker near the battery. Follow the pos cable from the battery till you find it, It may have gotten water inside and rusted away....seen it many times

Good guess but with the jack wired directly to the battery allows other possibilitiesโ€ฆ

Hooked up reverse polarity could have blown the jack fuse and the circuit breaker you mentionedโ€ฆ

the circuit breaker might look something like this...

Just connected to my truck and everything works. Must be the battery. Off to have it checked again or get a new one. Thanks for all the replies.

Reversed cables, dead battery, bad ground, or battery shut off switch. Good luck.

Is there a battery cut off switch installed somewhere?

sounds like a bad ground somewhere

Unless there's an inline fuse somewhere, there's no reason the jack shouldn't work providing your battery really is good.
