Last year this time I had my TC hauler out and on the road for over two weeks. Granted it got socked with a foot and a half of snow a day or two in, but it was out...

Still need the snow to melt and enough rain to fall to wash the salt off the roads. 2002 Chevy 3500 DRW with 41K miles. Don't think it's ever seen salt roads.

Putting 10-ply tires on half ton trucks since aught-four.

.....LOL! By design, we live quite far from that catastrophe. That's one place we stay very far away from at all costs. Its a good place to completely destroy your vehicle bashing through the millions of potholes and rust it into oblivion from the mountains of corrosive chemicals dumped on the roads.

However, because it is a massive city crammed onto a small island, the urban heat island (UHI) effect from waste heat generated by the infrastructure makes it the warmest place (weather-wise) in the entire Province; snow ever accumulates for very long in the city, but a lot of ice forms on everything due to UHI melting.

Anyone wanting to drive through that city with their truck camper rig should steer well clear of it !

We still have snow and our driveway is a mud hole in the afternoon but this weekend I am going to drag the trailer to a flat parking lot to set up my WDH and if my stuff gets all pooped up Ill wash it when I get home. I don't no what my hurry is because its going to be 5 or 6 weeks to go camping........Maybe

.....we're back from Florida....but we came back way too soon :B

Still LOTS of snow in southern Quebec, and we are bracing for more. It snowed last night throughout our region, and, we are bracing for a fairly wicked Arctic front to arrive by Sunday for 4 days, with more snow next week.

The truck camper rig is hibernating in heated facilities, and probably won't be liberated for another ~~2 months in these parts. We get about 2 weeks of what I call "weak summer" a year in this region, surrounded by a month of fall, then BANG, hard winter, and at the and of June we get a "weak spring", the frost is almost out of the ground by then. So, about 2 weeks (sometimes 3) of iffy summer for us a year; that's it. We're at ~1000 feet elevation.

I sympathize with the Maine people 😄

Kalifornia! If it isn’t burning, shaking or sliding it would be a nice place to live oh and I forgot to mention the ******* liberals.

We want to avoid politics. However, the burning, shaking or sliding is a very small part of the state and it is not in every part of the state. .

At 100F some native to Las Vegas will still wear sweaters.
Funny to observe how human body can adjust to local seasons. Takes years as I experienced, but I see sweaters at 100F in Nevada and T-shirts at 55F in Washington state.
You have to use what your weather gives you 😉

Around the first week of October, every year, I've had enough winter for the season. 🙂

The snow won`t hurt but the salt will.

Yes thats why we moved from Syracuse N.Y. 32 years ago. We took TC and truck up this past Xmas and it was cold and snowy. Syracuse got hammered with snow this year. Snowiest city in the country. Returned thru Erie Pa in blizzard conditions. Will not do it again. Truck and TC were a salty dirty mess when I got back to Texas.
