Outdoor light with plug in

We have a 1972 TT and need a new porch light. We will mount a piece of wood to cover the hole from the old light. For now, we would like a light that we can hang up and take down, with a plug so we can plug it into the outlet that is right next to the light. The only outdoor lights with plugs that I've found are some 10W LED floodlights. I will probably get one of those, unless someone has other ideas. I'm not too worried about how it has to be mounted. We'll figure something out for whatever we end up getting.

I effectivly replaced one of my outside lights with this LED strip set. I ran the lights under the awning tube on the side of the trailer. The controller takes 12V DC, which I spliced into an existing light fixture. The output of white is quite bright to use as a porch light, but can be dimmed with an IR remote. And I have the options for colorful camping too.

A better choice than wood is a piece of Cutting board. It's water proof and will never rot.

Sounds like a good idea. If I were doing it, I would see what's available in a dimmable light.
