Oven and burner problems

Hi. I have a 2003 Komfort Travel trailer with an Atwood-Wedgewood oven. In the last few years we have had problems with the burners when the oven is on..The burners either wont light or work very poorly . I have changed the regulator in the unit twice and the external regulator at the tanks three times. Neither has helped. The burner flame looks like its full of air or something. When the oven is off the burners work fine. Cant figure this out. Any ideas?

I haven't changed anything that I know of.Looks like the oven vents out of the grill at the rear of upper burners. Everything looks normal.Im stumped. Thanks for your replies. If anyone can come up with any other ideas I would really appreciate it. Thanks Bullyus

This problem is typically caused by improper oven venting. Did you do something to the vent that directs the oven vapors at the cooktop as opposed to the vent fan? It sounds as if the surface burners are being affected by improper secondary air which it receives above the burner...

All the burners are nice and blue including the hot water tank flame. This is so weird and only have problems when oven is on. Have to hold a match on burner{when oven on} And it kind of burns. Almost seems like a bunch of airI have changed both the stove regulator and the main regulator with no change.Appreciate the feedback.Bullyus

Due to the age , I would check to see if there are any rubber gas hoses used in your unit. Maybe a kink that limits gas flow, especially if the hose passes a slideout and could be moved (kinked)

The other thing that enters my mind, is a clogged orifice that supplies the burners.

as said , other than that, you need to put a meter on it to test 11" wc .

Regarding the stove top burners........

When you light one off on HIGH is flame strong steady and good blue flame?

Does its flame change when you light off another burner on HIGH?
Are both flames strong steady and blue?

Any change when you light off the last burner on HIGH?

If flames do not diminish in height, remain good strong steady then fire off water heater on propane..........any change/difference in stove top burners?
Does water heater light off and have good flame?

IF they don't remain high, steady and blue then LP Regulator is not supplying proper pressure or it is bad.

Even new ones can be faulty or not properly set
With ALL propane appliances in service (100%) the LP Regulator should be able to provide proper FLOW and Pressure (11" WC -----0.4 psi)
Regulators when set/adjusted should be done with at least 50% of propane appliances in service

Dirty flame tubes, burner rings, manifold etc. on stove would cause lousy stove top burners regardless if oven flame was on or off.------dirty/obstructed remains dirty/obstructed
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Crud in the line maybe. They can get dirt built up in them. No one guarantees Propane to be clean, just clean burning.
