IF the pilot is only a tiny little blue flame then probably NOT the thermocouple.
Pilot flame has to be big enough to engulf tip of thermocouple to heat it so that oven control knows to allow gas to continue to flow and to allow main gas to flow when called for.
Thermocouple would be suspect IF pilot flame was big enough to reach/heat thermocouple
Low pilot flame is due to either plugged pilot gas line or gas control thermostat (device oven knob is attached to)
I disconnected the pilot gas tube at controller and blew it out with air pressure.....oily gunk (for propane) came out.
Pilot flame then was big enough to reach/heat thermocouple
Is it time for your medication or mine?
